Every four years, two children have been stolen away from Gavaldon never to return. Most children fear of being taken, but not Sophie. She has dreamt all her life of being a princess. Her best friend Agatha has other ideas. When both girls are taken, things don't go quite to Sophie's plan. But sometimes princesses and witches don't look like they do in fairy tales.
The School for Good and Evil is a fairytale fantasy series by Soman Chainani comprised of seven total books, two main trilogies and one additional extra book. The School for Good and Evil follows Sophie and Agatha, two Readers taken from their village and given to The School for Good and Evil where they each learn how to be a princess or a witch.
Titles of the series
The first book in the series and the first book of The School Years trilogy is The School for Good and Evil. The School Years follows the main characters Sophie and Agatha through their first three years at The School for Good and Evil. The following trilogy (titled The Camelot Years) follows the students of The School for Good and Evil as they embark on their fourth year quests in the Endless Woods. The final book in the series is called One True King. Soman wrote another book for the series called The Ever Never Handbook which is set sometime in between The Last Ever After and Quests For Glory.
