Dot grew up in Nottingham along with her father, the Sheriff of Nottingham. At some point, her father did the School Master a favor, which resulted in Dot being taken away to the School for Good and Evil.
Dot has short brown hair and a slight chubby face. She was thought to have pale skin but in Book 6 it was revealed that she had brown skin. She large balloon body. Because of this, she was described as a "fatty", probably with the reason of how her relatives looked like and how her talent made her addicted to candy and sweets. In the second book, she goes on a diet and eventually becomes skinny. She then wears revealing clothes and fashionable hairstyles. She goes back to being fat in the third book, due to Anadil and Hester's taunting (which Sophie secretly disagreed with).
Dot is a bit daft with a strong sense of humor. She is both kind, supportive, and a strong survivor. Dot has feelings for Hort of Blood Brook and is known for her love of woodsmen. She is a sidekick to Hester and Anadil, two witches who she roomed with at the School for Evil. She is a chocoholic and often turns random items into chocolate to consume. Dot is much kinder and open-minded than her roommates, stating that 'Not every villain has to look depressed.'
Dot was Sophie's roommate in Room 66, Malice Tower, along with Hester and Anadil. During a session of Special Talents class taught by Professor Sheeks, it is revealed that she has the talent to change things into food, mostly chocolate, and Sophie remarks, “No wonder she’s such a fatso.” Dot is quite Naive, thinking that she and Sophie are "best friends". She once attended Sophie's lunchtimes lectures discreetly. Dot would always get ranked low which decreases her popularity, in book 2 it was revealed that Dot and Hort talked a lot. Hort felt lonely without her. When Sophie had finally turned into a witch Dot was kicked out of the coven, she was really sad after that. She went inside the good school knowing that if she turns to the other evil students they will humiliate her, she hid in the boy's toilets for a long time, crying. She was found by Agatha and she had a short conversation with her. At the circus of talents, after Sophie's witch's cream almost destroyed the good school Dot found Hester dangling, almost about to fall to her death but Dot saves her in time, she is once again reunited with Anadil, and Hester.
Dot uses her talent to change things into vegetables instead of chocolate, and ends up losing weight. She is then described to have tight curly brown hair with blonde highlights and wear light makeup. Agatha states she looks like she had lost 30 pounds. Dot claims that she can finally look how she wants to. First Dot was reluctant and refused to help Agatha and Sophie to go back to Gavaldon and restore things back to the way it was, claiming that she liked the School for Girls but later she agreed and was a major part in Sophie and Agatha's plan to restore peace.
Dot, Hester and Anadil acted as spies and helped Tedros and Agatha break in to the School for New Evil. Dot turned the fog around the School Master's tower into chocolate so that Tedros has a way to get in so he can "rescue" Sophie. Later in the book, when Hort threatens Dot, Hester retorts that she won't let him hurt her ("Over my dead body!") Dot doesn't quite believe that Hester means it, so Hester repeats her willingness to protect Dot.
Things to Food Changing Ability - Dot has the ability to turn any items to whatever kind of food she likes. She used her chocolate-changing talent specifically for the first series, vegetables in the second while continue to be normal later on.
Dot and Hester harbor an okay relationship, and, along with Anadil are known as the Coven. Hester and Anadil kicked Dot out of the Coven in the first book but later take her back in. In A World Without Princes, Hester is seen to be calling Dot a 'traitor' because Dot starts to lose weight and wants to be like an Ever. Hester tends to tease Dot about her weight many times throughout the series. As of The Last Ever After, they are good friends.
Anadil and Dot are friends as they are both members of the Coven. Hester and Anadil tease Dot about her weight, which Dot seemingly dislikes. Anadil calls Dot a 'traitor' when Dot loses weight and becomes more like an Evergirl instead of a witch. As of The Last Ever After, they are good friends.

He called her a pig and almost hurt her physically but he was stopped by Hester's demon and everyone else. In book 5 he later on is a more loving father to Dot. He threatens Rhian after finding out he captured Dot saying he'll "rob" him. He later on protected Dot and the school. He fought the snake but was killed, he told Sophie to tell Dot that he and her mother made Dot by love. Dot was really hurt finding out that her father died.
